I understand that it’s hard to get started on decluttering, but I promise to help you with a sense of humor, and with a respect for you and your privacy.  Don’t be nervous that I will throw everything away— it’s a collaboration and I’m here to make your life easier. No judgement.

FAQs

  • You can expect me to always arrive on time. I spend the first 30 minutes getting to know you and your organizing needs. Then we will get right to work (no procrastinating)! Depending on the project you can expect to have items sorted to be sold, given away or put in the trash. If you need help to cart away your stuff, I will provide that information to you right away and you can hire those people directly.

    You can expect to see a difference after the 3-hour session. We can schedule a follow up if needed.

  • Rates are $60-$100 hour depending on the complexity of the project, with a minimum of 3 hours per session. I have found that 3 hours is the perfect amount of time to get a lot accomplished without overwhelming my clients.

  • You will pay in advance of each 3-hour session. You can use Venmo (2% fee applies) or we can arrange for you to pay by check or cash if you prefer. Your pre-payment assures your slot.

  • I will travel for a 30-minute radius of Great Barrington, MA , for no additional charge. Arrangements can be made for farther travel.

  • If you cancel within 24 hours prior your appointment you will receive a full refund. After the 24-hour period you will be charged the full amount of the session. There are no exceptions.

  • I will arrive for the first time ready to complete the 3 hour session. There is no need for a consultation first.

  • Identify your goals, the more specific you are, the easier it will be for me to help you accomplish them. Make sure you have a trash disposal plan or are ready to hire removers. I do not cart away your unneeded items but I am happy to find someone to assist you.

I have been helping people get organized for my whole life. When I was a kid, I would have “clean out” days where I took everything off the shelves, gave a few things away, cleaned up and put things back in a tidy way. From there it was an easy transition to helping friends and family when they were overwhelmed with clutter and mess. 

That’s the essence of what I do as a professional organizer. I will help you declutter and find places for the things you love and need. I love the work. I love the way you feel when you survey a room, an office, or even a drawer that’s been newly organized. It’s so much easier to get things done when the clutter isn’t dragging you down or taunting you from the corners of the garage, den, or office!
